Journal Oct. 31

Happy Halloween. While doing the transcription I found it pretty tedious. I took a really long time to do it while the rest of my group had finish. I would like to do it again. I also started to get faster as l went on. This could have been because I started to remember more than just one word  or because I started to focus more. I also felt like it helped me to remember what he said. If you had asked me what he said like a day after the interview I would not be able to remember all the as well. Now if you ask me I will be able to answer much better. I felt like I learned a lot of stuff that I had missed or forgotten before such as why Houston is a good city for an artist and who inspired him to be an artist. I thought that transcribing was a good process to go through. It was tedious but at the same time it was fun. It helped me remeber things. I would like to do it again if we have another project requiring it.

  1. I am glad that you were able to get something out of it! It's enlightening to look back on an interview and compare your memory of an interview to what was actually said. Looking back, is there anything that you wish you would have asked Mr. Eisenhut?
